Puppy Classes
Our puppy school is usually run on-site on a Saturday afternoon or Thursday night by Maddy. Classes run for 1.25 hours each week for four consecutive weeks. Maddy is a qualified dog trainer, with many years of experience,
Maddy aims to provide the perfect place for your puppy to socialise with other healthy puppies of a similar age in a safe environment. She covers all aspects of dog ownership including general health & well-being as well as behaviour & training using gentle, positive methods to effectively teach good manners. Pet Boarding
We can arrange full boarding services for your pet whether it be here with us or as a
Kitten Adoption
We often have stray kittens & cats brought into the hospital that need rehoming. We take them into our care until we can find loving new homes for them. They are all vet checked, treated for parasites, vaccinated, microchipped & desexed. Please call for availability & more details if you are interested.

Dr Raoul Denny
BVSc, MRCVS
Principal Veterinarian
Raoul graduated from The University of Sydney in 1989 and worked in mixed rural practice before working in the United Kingdom for 2 years in small animal practice. He started at North Randwick Vets in 1997 and became the owner in 1999. His veterinary interests include all aspects of small animal medicine and surgery.
Raoul is married to Jane and they have three children: William, Charlotte and Juliette.
They own two hairy little Cairn Terriers named Dougal and Ruby. Raoul’s other interests include rugby & golf.
Dr Jason Bembrick

Principal Veterinarian
Jason grew up on a farm in country NSW. He graduated from Sydney Uni in 2000. He worked several years in farm animal practice near Tamworth before travelling to the UK. He worked there for four years, initially as a farm animal vet before moving into small animal practice.
Jase started at North Randwick Vets in 2007 & became a partner in 2016. He enjoys the diversity of first-opinion small animal practice & has a particular interest in ultrasonography.
Jase’s wife, Sarah, is also a practising vet and they live locally in Randwick with their daughters Ava & Chloe as well as their fur-babies Cuba, the Burmese cat & Barney the
Claire Petit
Principal Veterinarian
Claire is originally from the UK and completed a degree in Biological Sciences before graduating in veterinary medicine and surgery from University of Edinburgh in 2006.
After working in London for two years she moved to Sydney in 2008 and has been working in 100% small animal practice since she arrived. Her main areas of interest are soft tissue surgery and feline medicine.
When she’s not at work you will find her walking her Hungarian Vizsla Winston and juggling her two sons.
Sarah Bembrick
Veterinarian
Sarah graduated from Sydney University in 2000 and joins us following a long period in the UK and 14 years working in a busy small animal veterinary hospital in the northern beaches.
She is experienced in all aspects of medicine and surgery with a special interest in ultrasonography and in particular cardiology. Sarah and Jase live locally with their 2 daughters Ava and Chloe, Barney the Cavoodle, a Burmese called Cuba and Petey the Alexandrian Parrot.
She loves to get up early to satisfy a slight running obsession, jump in the ocean and catch the sunrise.
Mark Baldwin
Veterinarian
Mark is originally from the UK but studied veterinary science at the University of Sydney, graduating in 2005. Mark lives locally with his family.
He works a regular Thursday morning shift as well as various casual shifts when they come up.

The vet was calm, attentive and reassuring. The reception staff were equally friendly. He gave us undivided attention when asking questions and wasnt in a rush to get us out and the next client in. Makes a difference to the previous vets we took him too who were just revenue driven and lacked a caring nature.
Shabana CookeCouldn't rate this team highly enough! We first met the North Randwick team when our pup was 8 weeks old and ready to start puppy preschool. The school, ran by the knowledgeable 'Mary Doggins', Sophia, gave us the best possible start to our training routine. Since then, Sophia has been a constant presence of support and guidance. Our pup also now sees her on a weekly basis to stop those silly habits she started whilst we had our backs turned. The amount of progress we've seen in just a few short visits is extraordinary.It's Sophia that brought us back to North Randwick, where we will stay for all of Aoife's care. Every insect bite, skin irritation or just general check up - we're in to see Sophia and her team. The nurses we've seen, especially Hannah, deliver extraordinary service that is both incredibly helpful and kind.Dr Jason is clearly an expert in all things dog and also happy to explain them out to us. He has taken great care of our girl and she is very comfortable with him. We have also on occasion been able to see Dr Surgeon, who has been fantastic in helping us with those last minute weekend check ups.This is the only vet I've ever been to where my dog is so excited to get in there she's basically lunging for the door. Highly recommend!
